Alla fine mi sembra che te la sia cavata piuttosto bene.Non godendo della libertà totale di muoversi, come i fotografi accreditati, e disponendo di risorse limitate vedo delle buone realizzazioni.Non sono in grado di darti consigli come Raffaele, però posso dirti che secondo me avendo un'ottica limitata e non potendo isolare i soggetti potresti provare a tagliare più drasticamente la foto per eliminare gli elementi di disturbo che in questi casi sono molti.Avendo una manifestazione come la Quintana so che c'è sempre qualcosa o qualcuno che si mette in mezzo, quindi l'unica soluzione è fare cose diverse da uno che può mettersi nella posizione migliore.Esempio qui vedrei un taglio netto sulle teste dei cavalli e i volti dei cavalieri.Oppure se puoi trovare un punto sopraelevato e fare una foto più panoramica.Un ultimo consiglio: tieni d'occhi anche la folla che guarda, si trovano sempre situazioni interessanti.

Mi fa veramente molto piacere.

Era precisamente così ... più la pioggia, più il controluce.
Riguardo ai tagli, per tutti i motivi che sottolinei, mi sono trovata a fare scatti dalla visuale ampia che ho ritagliato cercando di eliminare al massimo gli elementi di disturbo, ma cercando di mantenere un po' di aria al movimento degli animali.
In questo caso mi è piaciuto lasciare la figura del ragazzo a dx con il cappello rosso perché costituiva anch'esso un elemento caratteristico del luogo.
Ho lavorato anche di clone per eliminare qualche dettaglio di troppo 
Insomma un gran lavoro, in cui non sono nemmeno molto esperta ... sicuramente ho imparato qualcosa
