Avvistata fra l'erba alta abbiamo seguito questa femmina alla ricerca del cucciolo che non rispondeva al suo richiamo via via sempre più disperato. Con binocoli e con ottiche l'abbiamo cercato pure noi ma senza successo. Verosimilmente era stato ucciso da sciacalli o da qualche rapace. La madre, nella ricerca, incurante della jeep si è avvicinata a noi fino a pochi metri tanto da farsi riprendere con fatica con il 70-200 e per un serval è un fatto davvero raro. Pubblicherò la foto in futuro.

Peccato per la drammaticità della situazione, ma probabilmente senza un cucciolo da cercare non avresti mai visto un serval in piena luce così allo scoperto!
