Elimina gl'errori da te denunciati e come ti è stato suggerito sempre e solo cavalletto e mai e poi mai una maf automatica.
Questa farfalla è micidiale con il suo colore bianco tendi sempre ad avere parti un po' troppo luminose, in questo caso meglio compensare l'esposizione ed eventualmente un colpo di fill-in per ristabilire le ombre. Oppure esponi per le alte luci e con il flash attenui come detto le fatidiche ombre.

Per la tecnica ti hanno già dato ottimi consigli, per la composizione ti suggerirei di dare la giusta importanza al posatoio ed evitare di tagliarlo come in questo caso, anche lo sfondo è determinante per la gradevolezza dell'immagine
