Per quanto riguarda le ottiche Carl Zeiss con il nome Distagon
si intendono le ottiche grandangolari dal fish-eye al medio grandangolo (35 mm),
con Planar le ottiche che vanno dal normale 50 mm ai medi tele per ritratti (85 - 100 mm), con Sonnar i medi tele un po' più lunghi (135 - 180 mm), con Tessar la Zeiss si riferisce ai tele più spinti (da 200-300mm), con il prefisso Vario (Sonnar o Tessar) gli zoom; questo era il sistema di obiettivi per la Contax. I nomi degli obiettivi Zeiss sono dovuti allo schema ottico, quindi penso che anche oggi gli stessi nomi che ti ho elencato si riferiscano a quel tipo di obiettivo. Inoltre ci sono altri tipi di obiettivi, tipo il Biogon (grandangolare), usati nelle fotocamere a telemetro, che non conosco molto bene. Grazie ancora e buona giornata! Sergio
