Capers! sent on April 07, 2014 (14:41) by Michela Checchetto. 52 comments, 2961 views.

Grazie! :-)

hello Michela
is an image that fills the frame but not saturated, I like the white burnt leaves to the left, which contrasts with the total darkness of the background, the beautiful light coming from the bottom left and the lights under the leaves ...
maybe you know what? I can? ... maybe I got up a little bit the direction of light to illuminate at least until the middle of the many "Cosini" or another (weak) torch which illuminates the front grazing the highest part of the "Cosini" ... (I need a basic course in botany!)

Excuse my curiosity, but you've set up his easel in the greenhouse?

@ Flavio
Hello! Thank you for this beautiful nth your comment! :-)
maybe you know what? I can? ... maybe I got up a little bit the direction of light to illuminate at least until the middle of the many "Cosini" or another (weak) torch which illuminates the front grazing the highest part of the "Cosini" ...

The pictures I took as you say ... in the end I did not like at all ;-) It is not easy to photograph a flower because the numerous stamens (the "botany":-D back later!) Are located on different floors and light I created was difficult and unpleasant reflections: I also tried with a homemade soft box but then I gave up. I preferred instead to place the light as you see (reaching the limit of exposure) because I felt that would give the idea to radiate from the "heart" of the flower (theCbr /> Thank you for Flavio explained that "Cosini" are the stamens (composed of filaments and anthers):-D

Best wishes to you both!
Michela

Never! The capers we eat are nothing more than the flower buds ;-)

Thank you Jypka! :-P
I do not understand what "Cosini" means ...

... Essentially means "little things" is a kind of term of endearment ("term of endearment").
What is certain is that my English is terrible. :-(

Michela photography I really like, is original and exciting as most of your photographs of flowers. I was about to write that I would try to lower the flash of light but I thought that the contrast is strong and striking a feature of your style and I stopped the mouse. Personally, I find that this flower gives the best of himself photographed with the sun back, especially at dawn to the translucency of the stamens and petals.
Yes, I saw the most beautiful examples of this flower. I think it is a hothouse plant is not well developed because it is still early for its natural bloom. When passing under the Roman walls of Rimini'll see the flower-covered caper I will alert you.
I posted another photo archive because they are not yet out of the emergency family.
Hello dear Michela.

hello Michael, in my travels I have had the good fortune to see and admire many caper flowers that grow one after another on slender branches ever seen ... and ... square with daylight and even "too" strong
Your shot has a beautiful "enlightenment" ... as a single ray of sun kissing him ... only highlights its beauty thanks to the dark background
good ... as always!
a warm greeting, marco

Hello Michael, you've finally found your fine caper! Here in Liguria, and even in the city, if they can find many examples, clinging to the walls ... so if you come to photograph them live,,,, ;-)
You can turn into a fire d 'artifice even a single tiny flower greenhouse ..... :-)

michela wow, you've given to the macro from some time now. When do we review some of your beautiful landscape. I just love these photos, but they are not my thing, maybe because I do not have the equipment to do them. Still very good
