Come scritto nella nota didascalica, si trova, insieme ad altri più o meno recuperati, nelle campagne a sud di
Modugno, non molto distante dagli scavi di Casale Balsignano (attualmente anch'esso in fase di recupero).
In particolare il rifugio ripreso nella foto si può raggiunge facilmente percorrendo la strada Modugno-Bitritto.
Se hai il GPS, puoi inserire queste coordinate Lat. 41°02'26" long. 16°47'41".

As written in the didactic note, is, along with other more or less recovered, in the countryside south of
Modugno, not far from the ruins of Casale Balsignano (currently also in the process of recovery).
In particular, the refuge taken in the photo can be easily reached by taking the road Modugno-Bitritto.

Il cantiere di Casale Balsignano (il nome probabilmente è dovuto a monaci fedeli al culto di san Basilio che
colonizzarono la zona) rientra nella gestione del comune di Modugno e, ovviamente, della Soprintendenza; pertanto per agibilità al sito e altre informazioni bisogna interpellare i due attori.
Considera che il sito di Balsignano è di grandissimo interesse storico e, probabilmente, come testimoniano
moltissimi reperti recuperati negli anni '90, uno dei primi insediamenti del Neolitico pugliese (V millennio a.c.)
è nato proprio a Balsignano.
Il cantiere aperto nel 2011 mira a recuperare l'insediamento Neolitico ma anche a restaurare e mettere in sicurezza
gli insediamenti successivi come Il castello, le antiche mura del casale, la bellissima chiesa di san Felice
(anno1000 d.c.) sui quali, peraltro, si erano già spesi dei soldi pubblici.
Speriamo che il recupero questa volta, se mai andrà a buon fine, possa essere fruibile dalla comunità e non, come spesso accade, dai soli addetti ai lavori.

The construction of Casale Balsignano (the name is probably due to the monks loyal to the cult of St. Basil that

many artefacts recovered in the '90s, one of the earliest Neolithic settlements Puglia (fifth millennium BC)
