Menzione d'onore nella sezione "mondo vegetale" all'edizione 2014 del concorso internazionale di Fotografia Oasis Photocontest (visibile foto qui www.oasisphotocontest.com/gallery2014/mondovegetale/ ). Questo albero enorme, da lontano sembra una collina che si erge assolutamente isolata nell'infinito paesaggio spoglio di un tratto della Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Per queste particolarità i Masai lo chiamano "albero di Satana".
