Focale 145 mm - Colli Euganei - Il Giardino di Villa Barbarigo (oggi Barbarigo Pizzoni Ardemani) - Valsanzibio di Galzignano Terme (PD) Il parco della villa di Valsanzibio copre un'area di 15 ettari ed è un raro esempio di giardino simbolico seicentesco, che presenta un complesso sistema di fontane tutte funzionanti. Il giardino contiene ben settanta statue con motti didascalici incisi sul basamento, eseguite da Enrico Merengo, tra cui si ricordano la personificazione del Tempo, Endimione, Argo, Tifeo e Polifemo. Il parco è percorso da sentieri conducono alle fontane (in tutto sedici, tra cui quelle dei Fiumi, di Eolo, dei Venti), al labirinto in bosso, a laghetti, peschiere, ruscelli e giochi d'acqua, alla galleria dei carpini; vi sono circa 800 piante, tra cui diverse specie arboree piuttosto rare: in particolare, si contano 24 varietà di conifere, 16 di alberi a foglia perenne, 24 a foglia caduca e altri tipi di arbusti. L'itinerario simboleggia il cammino dell'uomo verso la Salvezza. Il giardino della villa è stato recentemente insignito del premio internazionale "Il più Bel Giardino d'Europa". (Fonte Wikipedia)
