La precisione dei dettagli è dovuta, oltre alla qualità della lente, al fatto di utilizzarla con la tecnica del focus stacking al suo diaframma migliore, contrariamente alle foto macro classiche, dove per avere una maggiore profondità di campo, bisogna chiudere il diaframma con conseguente abbassamento della nitidezza. Il problema di queste immagini è quello di dover elaborare una massa enorme di dati che mettono a dura prova la RAM del computer.
