Non sarebbe una foto da postare, la qualità è troppo scarsa. Però l'incontro abbastanza ravvicinato con un'albanella reale maschio merita di essere ricordato.
Devo dire che l'esemplare non era neanche tanto diffidente, io ero in auto e lui mi passava nemmeno troppo lontano.

Vi ringrazio per i commenti positivi, ma la foto non è un granché: sfondo troppo presente e insulso, MAF non molto precisa, il fuoco cade sulle ali e non sugli occhi (mi veniva incontro e l'autofocus si è un po' addormentato).
Thank you for the positive comments, but the photo is not very good: background and this too silly, MAF is not very precise, the focus falls on the wings and eyes (I was meeting and the autofocus is a bit 'asleep) . Il maschio dell'albanella reale non e' molto comune,ho incontrato spesso femmine ma una sola volta il maschio.

Purtoppo l'AF della 50D non gli sta dietro mi sa.

Grazie per i commenti e auguri a tutti per il nuovo anno.
Le femmine risultano un po' più comuni perché i giovani al primo inverno (maschi e femmine) hanno livrea quasi identica a quella delle femmine adulte.
Si ho scoperto un paio di luoghi in cui bazzicano (credo di aver individuato 2 maschi e 2 femmine ma visto che i due posti distano meno di dieci km potrebbero essere gli stessi due), però durante il giorno spazzolano delle aree molto vaste quindi ritrovarli nello stesso posto è una questione di fortuna salvo avere il tempo di stare ad aspettarli dall'alba al tramonto (prima o poi ripassano)
Io ero su un argine leggermente più alto del volatile, pur volando lentamente aveva dei repentini cambi di assetto e, essendo basso, l'AF della reflex era molto "attirato" dal prato sottostante.

Yes, I found a couple of places to hang out (I think I found 2 males and 2 females but since the two places are less than ten kilometers may be the same two), but during the day brushing of large areas and then find them in the the same location is a matter of luck unless you have time to sit and wait from sunrise to sunset (sooner or later have returned)
