Poi le quotazioni sono risalite in fretta: segno di nuovo apprezzamento a fronte delle prestazioni si un po' migliori dell'AF-S, ma certo non rivoluzionarie.
Io credo che sia una lente ormai leggendaria in tutta la produzione Nikon. Sicuramente non perfetta, ma dallo splendido carattere per chi lo sa apprezzare.
