1100d e 400L... devo dirti che anch'io ho la 1100, e avrei fatto un pensierino al 400 5.6 usato. posso chiederti come va l'autofocus con questa abbinata? grazie in anticipo :)

Come puoi immaginare l'autofocus della 1100d lascia un po' a desiderare... L'abbinamento dei due è comunque accettabile, visto che il 400L è davvero veloce ad agganciare il soggetto, ma per sfruttarlo al meglio servirebbe sicuramente qualcosa di più reattivo della 1100d. Infatti a breve dovrei prendere la 70d che spero migliori la situazione. Io sto seguendo il principio di investire sempre prima sulle ottiche che sul corpo macchina, dato che gli obiettivi sono più importanti nel determinare la qualità della foto. Quindi ti consiglio l'abbinamento 1100d + 400L come soluzione temporanea; visto quello che costa l'obiettivo sarebbe un po' uno spreco tenerlo sempre attaccato alla povera 1100! 
As you can imagine the autofocus 1100d leaves something 'to be desired ... The combination of the two is acceptable, given that the 400L is really fast to keep up with the subject, but to make the most would surely something more reactive 1100d. In fact, I would take the short-70d which I hope will improve the situation. I'm following the principle of investing always first on the lenses than on the camera body, since the objectives are more important in determining the quality of the photo. So I suggest pairing 1100d + 400L as a temporary solution; seen what it costs the goal would be a bit 'wasteful keep it attached to the poor in 1100! ;-) Come puoi immaginare l'autofocus della 1100d lascia un po' a desiderare...
