Ciao!

Hello!
It 'been a while that I think about it ... and they fought right between a 35 and f2 is the 17-40 (I see that you have them both) ....
Which one do you enjoy more?

CIao Izio,

Hello izio,
are two entirely different goals, 35 IS qualitatively speaking is another planet, but the 17-40 has an incredible versatility. I can only advise you in my own way, and since I have both of them would tell you to take both:-D but much depends on the type of photography that you wish us ..

Grazie al ........ :)))

Thanks to ........ :)))
I'm undecided because I would take them both at once.
The 17-40 because I want something more wide angle of my current 24-105 F4L, 35mm I would use it more for portraits and reportage ambientati (if you want to try to look at my photos).
The latter, however, would be an improvement to a focal length of 40mm where I'd already covered pancake lens that made me discover how much I enjoy taking pictures with this length (35-40) and with a good opening.
So before something where they are covered, but I'd like to improve, or something where I have nothing before me but maybe I need less?

Sorriso

If you have 40 then I would recommend the 17-40 f2.8, the 17mm is a pleasure in certain situations, a new perspective, nothing to do with the 24mm that I also have the 24-105! :-)
