show. This type of photography is really getting very charming ... too bad to be able to do this successfully, for those with little time should occur at the same time having a few:

- Clear night without clouds
- Moonless night
- Day after holiday
- Next day without family commitments
- Possibility to reach a dark place

.... Which would result in my case, in a year .... the output that would certainly be too little to get to have a practice to obtain good results .... :)

Giacopane Hello, thanks for the comment but check out from the balcony of the house you can make some very interesting shots if you see the following link
www.panoramio.com/photo/64378550
shows you the startrails made from the balcony of the house with 150 shots made from 20 seconds to about 21, unfortunately the balcony facing south so the polar me remains hidden from the house, so it is not necessary to go to a high place (certain is that the + starry sky is spectacular).
Then take the car, open the window, pointing at the sky and shoot the picture out

it unites them with a special program, there are several.

I cmq I put a cooler color balance, tungsten type to have a more blue sky

thanks for the tip, but having them taken in jpg I do not know if you can change how you can do it with the raw.
Of course the next time I try to set shooting jpg with the setting colder.

yes yes. you can. on the menu you can choose the white balance. is generally to automatic ..... but you can put it on: day, cloudy, tungsten, fluorescent and can not remember if there are others ..... the coldest temperature is tungsten. there had also my 450d.

practically before you set the balance and then shots.

do a test shot ...... if you do not like then leave it in automatic way ;-)

Yeah ok, I know you can set the machine what you want, what you do not remember is if you can with a jpg, with a photo editing program to return the white balance (but I'm pretty sure it's not possible)
