Mecheke è un villaggio di etnia Konso dove fotograficamente il nostro viaggio si è concluso alla grande in una sorta di locanda dove, alla sera, gli uomini si erano radunati per bere l' arekè ( grappa distillata dal sorgo ) come quella che beve il soggetto della foto ed una densa bevanda fermentata a base di miele. Mentre stavamo osservando il generation tree ( una sorta di monumento dove viene piantato un albero secco ogni generazione con un intervallo di 12 anni ...) sono stato attirato dal brusio festoso e dall' odore di alcool che proveniva da un recinto nel quale non ho potuto fare a meno di entrare a curiosare incontrando personaggi al limite dell' ubriachezza ma molto cordiali ed è stata davvero un bellissimo modo per concludere il nostro bellissimo viaggio..
