L'idea è quella di ritrarre dei paesaggi urbani la cui composizione sia dominata da una forte componente verticale. In aggiunta alla composizione, viene applicata una post-produzione consistente in uno split-toning giallo-rosso e un bordo bianco che rende quadrato lo scatto. L'intenzione di questa post produzione è quella di essere una metafora dell'illusione di solidità e durabilità (si può dire eternità?) che spesso si prova quando si pensa agli edifici: lo split-toning dovrebbe dare un'aspetto un pò vintage allo scatto, rendendo così l'idea che il soggetto sia lì da molto tempo. Nel contempo il bordo quadrato dovrebbe dare "staticità" allo scatto, andando un pò in contrasto con la forte dinamicità data dalla componente verticale. Ma proprio l'evidenza (soprattutto per chi pratica fotografia) che questi sono "trucchetti in post produzione" racconta dell'illusione di cui si accennava più sopra, mentre il formato quadrato fatica molto a contenere la dinamicità in una metafora della transitorietà dei soggetti.
