Il mio cuore piange quando vedo questi posti che hanno visto sofferenze inaudite e la morte di tanti giovani, colpevoli di "esser giovani". Io non riesco a scattar foto in questi luoghi ma guardo volentieri quelle scattate da altri non tanto per giudicare la loro bellezza o meno ma perché mi emozionano come fossi sul posto. Con questa tua mi hai trasmesso tanta emozione, grazie.

I can not picture CLICK gladly look in these places but those taken by others not so much to judge whether or not their beauty but because they excite me as if I were on the spot. Grazie per il sensibile commento che condivido. Visitare i luoghi della Grande Guerra suscita anche in me un sentimento come il tuo. Mi chiedo quante persone che visitano luoghi come questi, si inerroghino su quanto accaduto. Per fortuna c'è ancora qualcuno che lo fa. Onorato del tuo commento.

Sono stato a Verdun sul fronte franco-tedesco e mi sono letteralmente agghiacciato nel vedere il grande ossuario che ancora conserva le resta di migliaia di uomini morti per un'assurdità.
