I bet the focus in the central part, in the heart of the flower as well as yourself picture is confused and not very pleasing to the vision because, in my opinion, you have not highlighted the aspects that make it beautiful. Michela Avrei puntato la messa a fuoco nella parte centrale, nel cuore, del fiore che così come da te ritratto risulta confuso e poco piacevole alla visione perchè, secondo me, non hai messo in risalto gli aspetti che lo rendono bello. Il fatto che siano a fuoco le parti laterali, a mio parere, non ha molto senso così come trovo fastidiosa l'inclusione di quel pezzettino di petalo in basso a destra.
Se hai ancora a tua disposizione il soggetto potresti fare qualche altra prova
Naturalmente il mio è solo un parere personale....e tra l'altro l'unico critico rispetto a tutti coloro che mi hanno preceduta.
L'importante, alla fine, è che la foto piaccia a te e dunque dai il giusto peso alle mie parole.

If this was your intention maybe you could get most of that particular sharpness with a smaller aperture.

Se questa era la tua intenzione forse potevi ottenere maggior nitidezza di quel particolare con un diaframma più chiuso.
Per dare risalto ad un particolare la nitidezza resta comunque necessaria...penso che su questo tu possa essere d'accordo con me.
Anch'io amo molto giocare "artisticamente" nelle macro ai fiori e con lo sfocato ma lo faccio proprio per concentrarmi, con messa a fuoco selettiva, su un particolare.
Se ti piace questo genere, permettimi di consigliarti la visione delle splendide foto di Giuseppe Guadagno che sa unire espressività artistica e tecnica in modo meraviglioso: io lo chiamo "il Maestro".
