Good observation. I debated about the small amount detail that would be lost with noise reduction. I am usually inclined to go with a little more noise to get maximum detail/sharpness. However, when I do someone invariably points out the noise issue. :-) Maybe should just go with my gut feelings about it and let the comments fall where they may.
