Moon and Saturn sent on December 19, 2011 (11:43) by Digiborg. 10 comments, 1280 views.

1/100 f/13.0, ISO 800, tripod.

Congiunzione di Saturno con la Luna. 22 maggio 2007 Nikon D200 al fuoco diretto di un Maksutov-Cassegrain da 150mm di diametro e 2000mm di focale. 1/100s a f/13 - iso 800. Un unico scatto, apportato solo un leggero aggiustamento della curva su Saturno che risultava leggermente sottoesposto per via delle diverse luminosità e un po di sharpness.

I apologize for the previous photo and thank you anyway for the comments, as you have rightly pointed out to me the crescent moon was advanced for the event on May 22, 2007, in fact it was a composit that I changed as a screensaver :-|, the posted time is correct and matches the original shot. If you want to ensure its authenticity and non-working (limited to a light crop, which accounts for the larger size of the moon on the frame and what is necessary for optimal shooting) I give the original RAW file via email or FTP.

No problem, you do not need the raw! Sometimes you get confused ;-) Especially with these pictures that at first glance "look" the same. If it was not for the comment and not the Panleo riguardavo more carefully I would not have noticed it myself, because the shoot I did in my time were made with the webcam and having the moon in the whole I could not remember com 'was the stage, I had to go and look at my maps of astronomical phenomena. In fact, I even enjoyed searching if there was an occultation of Saturn that I had lost, with the moon phase that corresponded to your photo.

Hello!

:-D you only show, I used a Maksutov-Cassegrain 150mm in diameter and 2000mm of focal ... then I selected the moon before recovering the lights and processing a little curves and then Saturn opening the shadows and countering it. Thank you!
ps ... I'm proud, a blow of c ..., I will not be one more like this :-D

Looking at this photograph and reflecting on dimensions and distances I feel a grain of sand.
Incredible composition of this photo, beautiful, great work (although I do not understand anything about astrophotography).
A greeting,
Davide
