Che metodo usi? Che software?
Con Photoshop io faccio due ridimensionamenti, il primo passaggio porto l'immagine al doppio della misura finale (nel mio caso lato più lungo 900 faccio allora 1800) e passo maschera di contrasto (raggio 0,5 fattore non oltre 100-120 ma lo vedi perchè se è troppo compaiono artefatti).
Secondo passaggio porto l'immagine alla misura definitiva (900) ancora sharpen ( dimezzo il raggio e abbasso se serve il fattore fattore).
Adesso l'immagine è pronta: puoi fare salva per web, oppure come faccio io, dargli 'a mano' il profilo sRgb e salvare in jpeg.
Non uso salva per web perchè in passato mi ha dato problemi di artefatti, preferisco impostare io il profilo colore.
Spero non averti confuso le idee..
Lo scatto non mi sembra poi male.

What method do you use? What software?
With Photoshop I make two layoffs, the first step harbor the image at twice the final size (in my case the longer side then do 900 1800) and step unsharp mask (radius 0.5 factor is not more than 100-120 but you see because if it is too artifacts appear).
Second step harbor image to definitive measure (900) still sharpen (halve the radius and lowered if it serves the factor factor).
Now the image is ready: you can make saving for web, or as I do, give it 'by hand' the sRGB profile and save as jpeg.
Do not use Save for Web because in the past has given me problems artifacts, I prefer to set the color profile.
I hope I do not have you confused ideas ..
