Per i non palermitani, il mercato del "Capo" si trova alle spalle del Teatro Massimo, quindi nel pieno centro cittadino. Al apri della Vucciria è molto antico e tuttora abbastanza vivo e frequentato. Si divide in alcune zone, come vedrete in seguito, dove oltre alla vendita di prodotti alimentari, si trova una parte di vendita delle stoffe a un'altra dedicata ad oggetti antichi di vario genere.
