Grazie RobertoSorriso
Ciao.

Thanks Steve :-)
The towers (they are not really black) above the town of Savona are those of the coal plant in Vado and could have caused 400 deaths in the last 10 years :-( :-( [URL =] www.ilsole24ore.com/art/notizie/2014-02-18/centrale-vado-ligure-dichia and yet they remain as a monument to man's contempt for the environment .. and eventually for himself ..

Sanna! ;-)

Ciao
Max

Sanna! ;-)
It gives me the idea that a widescreen (16/9 16/10) here is more appropriate to avoid part of the sky. ;-)

Grazie Sergio e Max.Sorriso

Thanks Sergio and Max :-)
@ Max: You're right, from the point of view of composition I had even thought about it, but from the point of view of what I wanted telling the photos I preferred to leave all part of the sky black by a more somber. :-)
The title was that I had put the "black towers: the dark side of the city", the second part is inexplicably disappeared .. but not right away, we tried again ..:-D

Complimenti.
ciao

I agree with Max that from an aesthetic point of view the sky at the top is a bit 'too cumbersome and needs to be reduced but the choice of Catherine was to tell the landscape through his point of view by exploiting the presence of those big dark clouds for a shot that just because the content can afford to go out a little 'by the rules of composition.
Compliments.

Buon fine settimana, Giuseppe.

That smoke and fire coming out of the activity around the chimneys seems to create a landscape funereal and gloomy atmosphere. The photography is very impressive Catherine, beautiful.
Have a good weekend, Joseph.
