Unfortunately, I left without a tripod and not wanting to lose this beautiful reflection I had to arrange raising the ISO up to 800. My Pentax at high iso is not a dragon (say that sucks!). Here I worked as an HDR photo, despite having just one shot, and in the prediction of cutting the top PP because it is completely burned by 800 iso with a shutter speed of 1/60. I adjusted the DNG file in Camera Raw then I made a copy of which I am enclosing with the original HDR image in Photoshop, getting a. Hdr file to be processed in Photomatix. Unfortunately noise, especially in dark reflections of the water in the lower right and on the left there is a lot but I do not think pistons too with the rest of the image. What do you think?

you can reduce the noise by following the instructions found here: [URL =] www.juzaphoto.com/article.php?l=it&article=23 .
I did not understand the tour that you did. would not be enough to make a copy underexposed and one overexposed (or more than one) and then merge them into working on photomatix tone mapping for the appropriate adjustments?
the reddish cast in my opinion is a bit 'too much, unless it was just what you mean instead. I conceive the hdr differently from others: to me it should be, basically, a method to retrieve detail and tonal range, rather than to create artistic effects.

Grazie Bosforo65. Sorriso

Thanks Bosforo65. The tour I've done is simple: instead of over-or underexpose the same file, since the parties were burned delete them to save time, since the result would be the same, I simply made a copy then I joined in HDR. To work with photomatix serves however a file. Hdr to 32 bits. For the reddish cast, which, however, I do not mind, in fact it is a tad most evident in the passage obra / light in the back wall on the left, however, I noticed that it is already present in the raw. I tried to lower it by adjusting the gray point average with curves, but there are much riuscito.Poi then I had not the color checker, that some things are utilissimo.Hai reason for the use that you should do HDR although, sometimes I get carried away and, treading the hand, within the realm of fantasy and the effect of Harry Potter! Thanks for the post and for the link. :-)
