Beautiful story, beautiful places ever the North American west .... A personal taste maybe a little too much hdr (I just do not go down:-D) and I would not cut the house on the right (if it were possible).

Thank you! :-)
@ Max: thanks for the like (especially because you do not love the hdr:-D). The original photo is beautiful in itself (it is the place which is amazing), but it lacks something and has a number of errors (the photo was taken in 2011, when for the first time I approached the photo ...) . The HDR pushed so many times, frankly, not even me crazy here ... I wanted to dare is to experiment, and to try to accentuate the feeling of abandonment of these places. (I do not know if they are successful in ...). The house on the right is cut unfortunately during shooting, but I think that even if the eye is not trained yet, he did it to bring back into the picture the background on the left.

White Thanks! I worked in photoshop raw with a little 'of various techniques (overlapping layers with different exposures, layer masks, adjustment of contrast / brightness / color etc.., Using various filters and some magic potion ...:-D) . I would recommend the filters Nik Software. For the HDR using 3 or more shots with different exposures, which are then combined and processed by the software hdr (eg this one in photoshop). Remember that for the post-processing is critical to take in raw. Thanks again for the compliments! :-)

Hello Roberto,
I see that we have made several steps in common:-D in our respective journeys .. although the classic destinations are a little ones .. ;-)
Me too Bodie loved it and fortunately I have included even though I stretched a little round .. if you've created a special form in Destinations where you can "sell" this your beautiful photo! :-)
Also I like Massimo are not pushed to the hdr but the end result of this photo I do not mind! :-)

Very nice! I agree, the hdr pushed so much increases the feeling of abandonment!

Very beautiful and pure chromatic forcing in PP is very good. This ghost town I visited several years ago and keeps intact all the charm of the Old West.
Congratulations also to the small 16mm. ;-)
Hello, Gabriel.
