Complimenti Lory!
Ciao! Sergio:-P;-)

I really like how you composed this image, occupying
almost diagonally across the frame with the flower. Very nice even light background.
The sharpness of this lens is excellent. Congratulations Lory!

Ti ricordi Foscolo ne I Sepolcri ?
Oppure Ovidio nelle Metamorfosi ?
e ancora, o addirittura, l'antico testamento
ilare uccello calunniato dai poeti ".
c'erano i Campi Elisi dove risiedevano i buoni e infine i
Complimenti.

The Asphodel is, flora, what is the Hoopoe
was for the birds.
Do you remember it Foscolo The Tomb ?
Or Ovid in Metamorphosis ?
and again, or even the Old Testament
in Deuteronomy and Leviticus and then the monaco
Philip Norman in his Thaon Bestiary ?
Luckily, the good Montale ridescrisse
hilarious bird slandered by the poets . "
The Asphodel, I said, because of the ancient Greeks
became the flower of the dead.
In the underworld of Hades, in addition to Tartarus picks up where the wicked,
there were Elysian Fields , where lived the good and finally the
<br /> Asphodel Meadows to those who were neither good nor bad.
Maybe a transit as a Purgatory.
Also believed that the souls of the dead, having to feed,
Asphodel chose the tubers so that the fields where it grew
this flower were listed as the residence of the deceased.
Personally, I like the hoopoe among birds, the asphodel is
my favorite flower.
This picture confirms it.
Compliments.

Ciao Tredicesimo!

It really is a particular flower, thank you for all your ideas, to see it I could never call it "flower of the dead." Hello Thirteenth!
