, 30 sec f/14.0, ISO 100, tripod. Bologna, Italy.

Thank you @ Beldigilberto, for making me note that I corrected a flaw, in this new version.

Good management of light and beautiful color contrast, sometimes even a 14mm becomes a bit 'tight ;-):-D
congratulations, hello.

Thanks again for passing and for your appreciation.
@ Mario, this is a medieval building and it's all wrong. Already during shooting I was positioned at the center of the scene, looking for the alignment between the statue of Neptune fountain, the center point of the arc of the vault and the white line on the floor. And I realized that I do not fit any of the three lines. In PP I aligned and centered the scene for the statue and for the walls. While the mismatches on the floor I could not do anything, if you do not distort the scene, something that I have wanted to do.
The first version of the photo posted hung on the right, as pointed out to me Beldigilberto, in fact in place these lines I did not realize that the two reliefs are not the same height from the ground and had resulted in the gradient described.
One shot not easy to perform, allfurther complicated by the distortion of the lens at 14 mm. Beyond the composition I really liked the different color temperatures due to different lamps that generated these hot and cold in perfect harmony and contrast. I hope I succeeded.
@ Catherine: Thanks for your comment, in fact I was also very close to 14mm, I could retreat to foster a wider shot, however I cut part of the fresco.
Thank you again.

Thanks Francoia through the passage.
The dynamic range of this D800E is crazy, and the quality of the files that churns excite me so much. Single exposure for this shot. For me it is a machine Fantastic!
Thank you all.

The PDR, IMHO ;-), is the first merit of this shot, it would not be outdone aspects such as sharpness and beautiful color rendition that turns this charming place that you are well described in the caption.
Congratulations Mark and a greeting! :-)
