Thanks for the comment. Taken from the base of a 175 ft. (approx.) huge fir tree in the Willamette Valley. As you probably know, these majestic birds rule the highest points in landscape. Of course this makes it extremely difficult to get very close to them. This shot was probably 225 ft. A stretch for my 400 5.6 At that distance you don't have to hide much. :-) Wally
