piccolo raccontino di backstage, a vostro beneficio sebbene direi avete già ampiamente compreso il senso di questo scatto: è da tempo che mi attira l'idea di immortalare un barista, come si trattasse di un doveroso tributo ad una figura che, quotidianamente, contribuisce con il suo mestiere, cioè il suo impegno e la sua attenzione, al nostro benessere d'ogni giorno..
ho scattato questa al bar interno del Palazzo Reale di Milano, che di fatto ne costituisce una specie di "buvette", con baristi e camerieri in livrea d'ordinanza ed ambiente d'una eleganza formale dal gusto retrò, a memoria quasi dei trascorsi istituzionali del palazzo..
bene: avevo appena preso a Milano questo nuovo, fantastico, vetro, ed ero più in vena di prove che d'altro, così ho realizzato questo scatto e poi l'ho messo da parte, non essendone del tutto convinto, e sul tema dei baristi ho proseguito nella mia ricerca anche in altri luoghi, Roma per esempio.. ma senza mai ottenere un'immagine soddisfacente, scartandole tutte, fino a quando mi sono reso conto che questa invece meritava di più: così l'ho desaturata appena da conferirle un retrogusto un po' da ora mattutina, quella del primo caffè del giorno, ed al tempo stesso un po' retrò , confacente al contesto.. la composizione assolutamente classica, che intuitivamente avevo realizzato in origine, la macchina del caffè a leve, le etichette dei liquori dai colori appositamente alleggeriti, lo specchio di fondo alla pannellatura, ed anche la proverbiale nitidezza del 105mm, hanno fatto il resto.. il titolo praticamente c'era già
