con Nikon TC-20E III, 1/1250 f/9.0, ISO 1600, tripod. Brescia, Italy.

I can not understand why 1600iso and shoot at 1/1250 with a tripod, and with a d700 because the picture is so mixed

mmmh .... vediamo......
perchè era l'alba e c'era poca luce,

hmmm .... let's see ......
because it was dawn and there was little light,
because I shoot with a 400mm and tripod did not give me a lot of reliability in terms of stability,
because pdr was about 2.53 km as the crow flies from the subject, in this regard placed below a photo taken about 15 minutes before from the same place with a 28mm where I highlighted the picture in question:

With regard to the "mixed picture", I do not seem right since the chimney of the incinerator is clear. And if you're referring to the mist rising from the ground that it was just the effect that attracted me. In fact, close to the ground it was all much more "soft focus" while climbing withgaze the air to the point that it became very clear to see the background clearly do not know what a mountain of the Apennines. The place where I took it near Brescia (!).
