Grazie Paola , si tratta del Canal du Midì , un canale artificiale scavato nel 1800 se ben ricordo , il quale collega il mar adriatico con l oceano atlantico ,serviva come via di commercio . Le navi venivano trainate da cavalli , il canale è provvisto di numerose chiuse per far alzare ed abbassare il livello dell' acqua , attraversa cittadine bellissime , è tutt'ora navigabile ,, la foto lo scattata a Carcasson, non dirmi che non ci sei stata,,,

A Carcasson si, Mirko, nello stesso viaggio che includeva Bordeaux..... però non ho mai navigato sul Canal du Midi, anzi, come hai potuto constatare non ne conoscevo neppure l' esistenza
