Considerando la tua spiegazione direi che il risultato è valido, personalmente però tramite la lettura dell'istogramma avrei cercato di sistemare le alte luci che in alcuni punti sono veramente elevate. Naturalmente il sistema è sempre il solito, esporre per le alte luci ed attenuare le ombre con un colpo di riempimento.
Vedrei di scaldare leggermente i colori per eliminare la dominante cyano.
