ciao a tutti posto la mia seconda foto su juza perché ho ripreso la fotocamera in mano dopo tanto tempo per motivi personali...
mi sono buttato nel campo still life che mi intriga tanto...
cmq vi propongo questo scatto con l'augurio che possiate commentare/aiutare a migliorarmi, vorrei sapere cosa ne pensate della composizione della luce, della candela (era meglio accenderla o lasciarla fumare una volta spenta?? ci voleva più spazio sopra la stessa???)

canon 50d, obbiettivo 17/85 usm, treppiede,

La prima cosa che si nota in questa foto è la mancanza di luce.
Se guardi l'istogramma capisci subito cosa intendo, hai decisamente sottoesposto ed il risultato appare piatto e spento.
Lo sfondo è indistinto e dubito che possa risultare gradevole anche se fosse ben esposto, l'oggetto che hai fotografato non è brutto ma non è una composizione di still life ma un semplice oggetto preconfezionato piuttosto poverello, per un buon still life occorre un set composto da oggetti belli, originali o ben disposti.
Occorre anche un certo studio nelle luci ma temo che tu debba incominciare dal principio.
In questo forum non troverai aiuti o esempi molto validi per quanto riguarda lo still life ma se vuoi vedere dei validi esempi prova a cercare qui:

e compra un buon libro che tratti lo still life.

The first thing you notice in this picture is the lack of light.
If you look at the histogram immediately understand what I mean, you've definitely underexposed, and the result looks flat and dull.
The background is blurred, and I doubt that it will be pleasant even if it were well exposed, the object that you photographed is not bad but it is not a still life composition but a simple object-mix rather poor man, for a good still life should be a set consisting of by beautiful objects, original or properly disposed.
It should also be a study in the lights but I am afraid that you have to start from the beginning.
In this forum you will not find help or examples very valid as regards the still life but if you want to see some good examples try searching here:

in effetti l' ho voluta "scura" la foto anke perché, come hai sottolineato tu, avendo illuminato di più la scena lo sfondo nn sarebbe stato un granchè.... :(
questo è un punto di inizio, sono consapevole che di strada da fare ne ho tanta, seguirò il tuo consiglio di acquistare un libro che tratti lo still life...

in fact I 've wanted "dark" picture anke because, as you've pointed out, having more illuminated the scene background nn would be a girlfriend .... : (
this is a starting point, I am aware that I have so much to be done, I will follow your advice to buy a book that deals with the still life ...
