Fabrizio

Hello Richard, you know what the next step you need to do.
How am reporting the top of the shutter a little too light, and perhaps a crop a bit 'too pushed made you lose detail.

Ciao, Riccardo

Thank you, in fact I cut to give greater prominence, and the way in which I live which is the shining path, perhaps sacrificing a little 'global image. For the next step I'm thinking more seriously. I'll have to give lessons, however, saw my revulsion at photo editing.

Ciao Riccardo, buona domenica.
Fabrizio

Hello Richard, good Sunday.
You must not confuse editing with the development of RAW files, they are two totally different things.
The editing is used to create artistic photographs, while the development of the raw need to bring the image taken as close to the reality of shooting.
Excuse the turn of phrase and the lack of clarity, but as you know I am a bear of few words.
Certainly here in the forum there are people much more technical and prepared me who can explain the differences in the two processes.

Ilario

Hello Richard, I see the picture is not perfectly clear to me and it is blur. I do not know how much you cut, but still a shot on a tripod with the D7000 (which I own too) should be recorded. Have you used the function of the mirror up (get up mirror) with remote shutter release? Do you have a tripod too leggerino and unstable?
Greetings :-)
Hilary

Riccardo

Hello Hilary, I think you have hit at least two factors that led to the finding of defects. namely: 1 cutting, perhaps a little 'more accentuated to put out a certain area instead of the whole landscape framed; 2, the tripod is not leggerino but lightweight. Thanks for reporting, the stand will surely be another element of the kit that I will have to take into consideration.

RICCARDO

Hello Fabrizio, I start to do a little 'of confusion. They're getting advice and information that even I had hoped but now I am getting a tad confusing ideas. I'll have to stop the balls and see my preparation, deepen and improve it and then leave. You can not think of conducting an orchestra if you do not know how to read sheet music. You can have only one ear but maybe not enough. Good Sunday to you too.

hello, I would try 20 sec ISO 100 f 11 until you see the lights like stars, but so is too long. recently I've tried with this method and it works better, I asked for advice from experts in night shots not sure I I knew. trial and you'll see ;-)
