Sempre incantevole il lago d'Orta, forse alzerei un po' il livello del nero per contrastare.
Nonostante il diaframma molto chiuso la definizione è ottima, f/16 ha però messo in evidenza lo sporco sul sensore.

Hai ragione per lo sporco sul sensore, mi capita spesso con tempi di posa sopra il secondo, nonostante sia stata fatta la pulizia.
Con i test automatici della reflex non rilevo mai anomalie, spero non sia un problema piu' grave.....
Provero' a seguire il tuo consiglio per la post, la luce ieri purtroppo era pessima (devo ammettere che ho faticato a recuperare le macchie).....

Michele, lo sporco sul sensore si evidenzia con il diaframma molto chiuso, non con le lunghe esposizioni.
Se vuoi fare il reale punto della situazione, e spaventarti, punta la fotocamera verso il cielo con qualsiasi lente e fai una foto con qualsiasi tempo di esposizione a f/16 o più chiuso, vedrai che spettacolo.

Michael, the dirt on the sensor is highlighted by the diaphragm very closed, with long exposures.
If you want to do the real point of the situation, and to scare you, point the camera toward the sky with any lens and take a picture with any exposure time at f/16 or more closed, you'll see that show. ;-)

Quindi consigli per scatti di questo tipo con luce diurna di aprire anche a f11 a scapito magari di non avere tutto a fuoco? Secondo te le macchie dovrebbero sparire?

Ovviamente devi valutare la chiusura del diaframma in base alla scena ma per una scena come quella della foto hai tutto a fuoco anche a f/5.6 con un 300mm, te lo dico perchè vado spesso alla MDS a fotografare.
Se ti è possibile cerca sempre do stare su un valore di apertura ottimale di f/8, valore al quale la maggior parte delle lenti lavora bene, f/16 per una foto come questa non ha proprio senso.
A f/2.8 non vedi assolutamente lo sporco sul sensore, a f/5.6 è molto difficile che lo vedi, a f/8 si inizia a vedere qualcosa mentre a maggiori chiusure diventa sempre più evidente.
Obviously you have to consider closing the aperture based on the scene but a scene like that photo you have everything in focus even with a 300mm f/5.6, I'll tell you why I often go to the MDS to photograph.
If you do, you can always try to stay out of a optimum aperture of f / 8, the value at which the majority of the lens works well, f/16 for a picture like this does not make sense.
At f/2.8 see absolutely no dirt on the sensor, f/5.6 is very difficult to see it, f / 8 you get to see something while in more closures becomes more and more evident.
