Complimenti Paride.
Ciao
MN

Congratulations Paris. Personally I do not find any flaw: the light and contrast are handled very well in my opinion, the composition is perfect with third parties faithfully reflected, with the eye that was invited along the way, then focusing the beam of light that illuminates also reflecting the "graffiti" (I left as written of love, and that's also the emotional side).
What else to say: bravo. I said not much, but I want to make you my compliments

Ciao.

The graffiti that you see are the marks left by the woodcutters, I think to determine the age of the poplar grove. Thank you for the technical considerations, and I had doubts about the conversion to black and white, I have a hard time not "see" in color.

Ah, ma l'hai già inserita.MrGreen

Complimenti.
Andrea.;-)

Ah, but you have already inserted. :-D
I really like this ...
Do not ask me why I can not b / w, but I have nothing to declare.
I find it intense and well done throughout.
(However, the technique for B / W I'm not too well versed, I like, who they will be more
you probably will be more useful to me ...).

Compliments.
Andrea. ;-)

Ciao massimo

The composition and lighting are really well cared for, the quid is the beam. If you must say something I would have turned a little to get everything in focus.

Paride

Andrew, in black and white because I think most expressive color version then because the light spot stand out more.
Most, in fact there is an error of focus, in part remedied by counteracting more trees in the foreground, but for those at the bottom are unable to intervene.
Thanks for telling your.
Paris

Barbara

Emotional part: this shot is controversial, it makes me think of a natural prison (with the poplars they represent, without the need to use a lot of imagination, of the bars) from which it is difficult to escape.
The rays of light, of course, represent the hope and escape.
Seeing her in this way, in the shot lacks the human or animal presence (there would be quite a good buck, but you could not order it at the supermarket of the deer).
Having shot with a tripod, you could have you put yourself in the frame, perhaps in a position of 3/4 with the face turned towards the light beam.
Trivial? Maybe so, but would have a why, a story.
For the technical part, I do not understand why, on a tripod, you used the ISO to 200 (forsa an oversight).
With theversion b / w is not optimal, I do not know how you did it, but you know, maybe because of the contrast of the sharpness and clarity of the abuse or to compensate for the error maf already detected by Maximus, who have artifacts created right on the trunks, leaves and grass.
I conclude by saying that despite what I wrote above, the shot is not to be thrown away, but it definitely could have been improved or developed in a different way, because it has potential.
Greetings
Barbara

;-)

The shot I like.

It could be done better technically, you were with tripod and photographing static subjects, so you could better control the MAF and avoid artifacts such as trunks.

It 'a burst of air, I am one with fixed subjects, and indeed, at first glance this shot does not have a subject (which could be a human figure, as suggested by Barbara) but I find that the composition of the atmosphere, make sure that the beam of light can withstand the emotional impact and composition of the image.

So we can identify him as the true subject of the photo.

;-)

Ciao
Max

beautiful composition very deep, which makes the subject from the beautiful ray of sunlight that enters bully in the scene.

If you were on a tripod you could close the aperture a bit more, you'd have a better and more pdc maf on the first floor which is a bit blurry but fortunately does not give too much bother.

Great conversion, compliments ;-)

I find the composition very good and very beautiful light that filters through the branches, the only thing I personally would change and 'clone in the numbers on the third trunk.

I agree with Bzanna3 abuse of clarity, I find it too .... the light was beautiful but not easy to manage ... it is still a nice picture ... ciaoo
