L'unica differenza che noto è quella tra colore e b/n...per il resto sono due immagini che, a mio parere!, risultano attuali per contesto.
In definitiva: non vedo la spaccatura.

ciao Michi! ..bhè: la "spaccatura" che ci ho visto è lo scorcio, cioè due ambiti urbani identici anzi contigui, da una parte e l'altra del Tevere, eppure lontani, quasi nel tempo, e non si tratta solo del contenuto umano, che su via del Corso è evidentemente assai più vistoso, ma anche di quello tecnico: alle luminarie si "giustappone" una semplice stella cometa sparuta tra i lampioni vecchio stile, al cellulare di ultima generazione dove il ragazzo rivede la foto alle luminarie appena scattata, si contrappone il riflesso del lampione sul lunotto di una vecchia Bianchina.
ma potrei continuare , in virtù del fatto che in queste accoppiate non ho cercato la contraddizione, bensì il contrappunto, che è diverso, ossia a dire, mutuando il vocabolario della composizione musicale, la ricerca di assonanze ma anche, possibilmente al tempo stesso, delle dissonanze: ed ecco che l'unica borsa dello shopping che si vede nelle due immagini spunta fuori da quella trasteverina anziché dall'altra, costellata di vetrine di griffatissimi negozi e orde d'umanità in preda allo shopping natalizio..
ovviamente queste sono "visioni" molto personali, non pretendo che altri colgano questi dettagli, ma ho cercato ove possibile anche di comporre in modo che anche vi fossero, nei dittici, "contrappunti" collocati a livello geometrico, onde fornire chiavi di lettura facilitata al fruitore della foto, ma mi rendo conto, me ne sono reso conto, che si tratta di un lavoro molto delicato, in punta di penna oserei dire, che può non essere riuscito del tutto, anzi sicuro questo, e non è certo l'aver realizzato gli scatti in sole 48 ore che può essere avanzata come giustificazione, perché se un messaggio narrativo non è arrivato le giustificazioni sono a zero.
comunque è un argomento che mi sta appassionando molto, a febbraio andrò a Parigi e spero di riproporre qualcosa di simile, ma non la stessa cosa! ..speriamo che per allora mi sarà venuta qualche idea..

Innanzitutto ti ringrazio moltissimo per la tua risposta molto chiara che soddisfa appieno la mia richiesta che aveva lo scopo, forse espresso in modo un po' provocatorio, di farti esprimere compiutamente il "concept" sotteso al tuo scatto.
Quello che personalmente non avverto è proprio il fatto che questi due scorci siano, come tu dici, " lontani, quasi nel tempo" ovvero, stante che entrambe le vie non sono moderne (anzi ritengo che l'architettura dei palazzi di via del Corso sia di epoca nettamente precedente a quella riportata nello scatto a destra), non avverto questa discrepanza emergere in modo chiaro.

...questo è vero ma ripeto, assolutamente a livello personale , la foto non mi ha evocato ciò che era tua intenzione trasmettere.
A Claudio la foto è piaciuta e dunque ciò è la comprova che il mio è solo un commento tra molti possibili altri.
L'importante è che l'autore della foto sia soddisfatto e che ritenga di avere raggiunto il suo obiettivo espressivo!
Dunque....
