Aperture 16 I find it really exaggerated, I usually do not go over 8, maximum 10 when needed and conditions permit ;-) More open aperture, the shutter speed will be more fast, then the risk of a blurred picture will decrease considerably ... chamois in question is too small for a full review on maf, detail etc ... I suggest that you practice on subjects easier and more confident, to acquire greater confidence about the settings ;-)
Greetings and Happy New Year :-)

Thanks Fabio, the chamois is small because it was quite far .. I did not want to cut the photo to put the spotlight on the subject just because you can not see the eyes, nose, fur ... The photo depicts a dark silhouette against the white background of the animal in the environment that corconda.
Questions: If I had used a wider aperture rocks would have been in focus due to the large distance?
Maybe times and were iso Pochini: fconfuso:?

Nothing to say about the pictures, the result is also nice in my opinion, but if I had the opportunity to photograph more closely, with 1/400 400mm'd risk getting a photo micromossa if not move ... time It must always be greater than 1/640 if you use the 100-400 maximum magnification of aps-c, for the near certainty of getting a photo not move. In this case, the iso were going well, instead you had to open the aperture, resulting in a faster time ;-)
Given the distance and the shot, the rocks would be in focus even af ??8 or 9 ;-)
Congratulations though to catch ... unfortunately in that park is rather difficult to meet animals confidants.
A greeting

It 'a bit' as I imagined, although in a confused way.
Confidants? :-D It was a group of chamois really far from me ... I'm in the valley, on their motangnawow!
Thanks Fabio, now acquires more value to me ;-)

Confidenti?
You have been in the park this summer and I've seen three in a week, at distances unheard ... while in Valle d'Aosta many more, and more particularly to photograph ;-)

Beautiful setting and framing. Regarding your request personally I would use the lowest ISO, aperture around the 5,6- 8 and a time higher

good photo;-)
quoto diego49, iso 200 and f8 would be ideal I think, however, you'd have everything in focus.
I personally prefer the photos acclimatized so I like:-)
