I cinquantini analogici non 1,4 costano pochissimo e sono quasi tutti ottime lenti. Anche questo ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Paga rispetto ai moderni ed agli obbiettivi migliori dell'epoca (vedi ad esempio il planar 1,7/50) un trattamento anti riflessi moto meno performante in condizioni di luce difficile. Nitidezza a livello del 50 1,4 canon EF con un po' di AC in più.
