Condivido molto l'osservazione sulla ridotta pdf. Usando spesso il 300mm tendo ad usare diaframmi intermedi, piuttosto che quelli chiusi. In questo caso , con il 600, occorreva propio un f.11 / f.13, e si poteva pure fare data la relativa staticità del soggetto..... ma qualcuna con questi diaframmi, accortomi dell' errore, l'ho sparata
Sono d'accordo anche sulla non eccezzionalità dell sfondo, sostanzialmente privo di sfumature da fuori fuoco e quindi di tridimensionalità.
Condivido un pò meno la valutazione "estetica" della luce. Le giornate uggiose le preferisco proprio per la maggiore morbidezza della luce, pur con tutte le limitazioni che impongono alla modalità di ripresa. E' ovviamente una questione di gusto personale che nulla toglie alle vostre considerazioni, ma mi sembra che, soprattutto con soggetti caratterizzati da piumaggi molto saturi o contrastati una luce morbida che abbassi il contrasto magari facendo perdere apparentemente dinamica alla gamma tonale (i colori che appaiono smorti), riesca a rendere meglio la morbidezza e i passaggi tonali del piumaggio.
