I Konyak Naga sono una delle più spettacolar tribù dell' India nord orientale e vivono nell' isolto distretto di Mon nel Nagaland. Nonostante questo però i cambiamenti sono sempre più veloci e si stanno perdendo gran parte delle tradizioni. Come al olito i vevvhi sono gli unici testimoni e depositari dello stil di vta tradizionale. Come i Wancho erano cacciatori di teste e come loro suggellavano alcuni passaggi della loro vita con i tatuaggi rituali. Dal tatuaggio faccialdei cacciatori si può riconoscere il villaggio di provenienza ed il loro aspetto non è prorpio rassicurante... In questo caso il cacciatore indossa i tipici " orecchini " d' osso cheormai non si vedono quasi più. Lo abbiamo scovato nel villaggio di Longwa, uno dei più grandi della regione e che ha una particolarità: è diviso per lingo dal cnfine tra Nagaland e Myanmar. La long house del re, dove ci ha accompagnato la persona fotografata, è divisa esattamente per il lungo !! Una altra cosa singolare è che in Nagaland la coltivazione dell' oppio è vietata così stanno tutto il giorno a coltivare i campi in Mynamar....... In compenso non è vietato l' uso a cui ne fanno abbondante ricorso ed il re del villaggio ne era una lampante de dimostrazione... Mi sono un po' dilungato....
