Ciao
Gian Luca

Giusy comment only the light, 'cause I think that's what interests you. It seems set for a Rembrandt, but 'the position of the face has altered the play of light that usually generates.

The shadows under the nose and neck are very clear, perhaps because of a light source is too small, too far away (even if on the front and 'very strong so to bring it even went down) Or derived from the use of the usual umbrella. (Which in my opinion and 'useful but only when it rains:-D:-D alias not I mount the phone on the flash)

Having regard to the installation of lighting model as I would have preferred a light source parallel to the subject, the size of a strip 200cm x 40 cm placed in the ground and the honeycomb. You would have had lighting more 'sharp shadows on the profile and much more' soft all over his body.

Grazie.

Hello Sailor, thank you for the detailed comments.
This was a very strange photo exercise. My photography teacher put me in a study that did not know for 10 minutes, with only one light very strong and difficult to manage, asked me to bring about 3 shots.
In 10 minutes I tried to manage the set, I had to change clothes the model, run the white balance, exposure and poses. I could not handle the light instead, and because I have not had time, both in the studio because I've never been so I did not know how to move.
Let's say that was the beginning, now I hope to do more shots to try to improve and your rabbits are very useful and valuable.
Thank you.

Ma che tipo di luce era? Luce continua? e che diffusore?

But what kind of light was it? Continuous light? and diffuser?

It was a continuous light like this www.hellomusicstore.com/detail0.php?prod=21270&cat=17000100 without speaker.
I know it's a bad situation, but the eservizio provided just that.

Next time put him in front of an object that creates shadows. Type like '[URL =] www.flickr.com/photos/glperris/6431002435/in/photostream and' a sheet of perforated metal in front of a quartz lamp like yours. The effect is obtained and that 'this

Any object, any grid splits the light and diffuses diffraction. Attention only to the warmth of the sun lamps, so no flammable materials also because 'to get the effect you have to put the obstacle close enough to the light source.

Else the color balance seems strange to me. For vorare with these lamps usually starts in manual 3,200 K

Interesting the grid effect, I have to try!
It is true, this lamp heats up crazy.
The white balance I did it manually via photographing a white panel.

It 'better to know the value of color temperature. The quartz lamps are always at 3200K, you can check the balance used, but it still seems a bit 'hot as temperature
