Un uccellino poco considerato ma molto importante perchè è dappertutto, Lo vedi in città e ti segue anche al bar pronto a cogliere una briciolina, ti viene a trovare al mare sulla sabbia aspettando che ti cada qualcosa della merenda... insomma vive con l'uomo elemosinando sempre cibo. Sembra purtroppo che sia in calo numerico in questi ultimi anni.
