I really like, I could not tell for green. Also I'm a little closer to photograph at night, I noticed that many times the light pollution creates strange effects ...

Beautiful shot!

I have not heard of airglow lately, but all can be. If I would have expected more in spots.
Do you have any other shots in other directions? Rarely airglow covers the whole sky. And above all this with such intensity to be seen with the moon (?).
You can always remove it HLVG.

Please note that if you made the white balance on the snow, and this was also illuminated by light pollution, the balance goes to ball.

Thanks Lorenzo, the transition ...
Note that this shot is a single exposure of 13 minutes, which sfumerebbe stains ...
The shot was made with no moon, it was the long exposure to allow me to illuminate the scene so much ..
But I am guilty of balance on the snow ..
Here the raw: www.sendspace.com/file/euvfjl

But I am guilty of balance on the snow ..
Then it explains everything. The raw (thanks!) also suggests that the dominant color was yellow, typical INQ. Lum. which unfortunately now also ruin our mountain peaks. :-(
The snow is illuminanta INQ. lum. while the sky was slightly different balance (partially transparent and partially reflects the inq. lum.).
Since you've already done the blend of heaven and earth, I invite you to recalibrate the color of the sky, unfortunately I fear that this time there is no airglow.
Anyway beautiful picture!

Thank you so much information ..
I figured it could be balance. But I was not sure because of my ignorance on the subject.
I have also done a video on the same evening. When I installed everything maybe I can better understand what happened!

After private discussions, in-depth and interesting about shooting conditions, picture what I wrote. :-) This is in good probability of airglow!
It seems to fill the sky with this view because "long" is only the lower part of the sky, which was all covered with this green light.
Congratulations again!

green nn I know .... but we're fine ... if you wanted the dark sky had to do + short + shots but then combine them! compliments Michele
