the idea is there ... the cup lit and the background of the window ..... just some things I would suggest .... remove the disturbing elements from behind, as the plastic bottle that you see. add a fill light ... right .... (and here is just fine even a white cardboard which reflects the left) and move the composition for groped to exclude the plant that you can see behind ... opinion .. .

you're absolutely right ... This is 'a still-life with direct sunlight, the environment and' a room without any modification. I sat at the table for breakfast, "I saw" the picture, and in less than 5 seconds I had already 'taken. With my very compact you can not decide ... by the time I learned to never use the zoom and "seek" the right light looking directly at what 'I want to capture. This picture 'a chance ... seen and clicked. The only advantage of owning a compact, 'I can carry it with me everywhere so I can take pictures that would otherwise miss. In this place, a few moments later, the light was no longer 'the same. In the studio you can 'work a full day to adjust lights, reflections and objects, here I seized the moment. Removing at least the bottle (it took a little) would certainly have been better, but at that time I did not think to do so. I agree with you. Thank you. hai perfettamente ragione... Grazie.
