La maf non è molto precisa, hai scattato a mano libera? Sembra interessare più che altro l'ala superiore.
Come compo l'avrei ripresa orizzontale partendo col posatoio dall'angolo, ma è gusto personale.
Presente ma gradevole lo sfondo.

giusto dipi09 ho scattato a mano libera (e si nota) volevo trovare un'altra posizione più consona al soggetto ma il luogo era infestato da rovi.

Quoto quanto detto da Dipi..a mano libera è davvero difficile mettere a fuoco tutto il soggetto, poi mi pare di vedere che era già in movimento, se ti piace ritrarre le farfalle devi andare il mattino presto, ora se ne riparlerà a primavera, comunque se ti piace questo genere di fotografia, devi assolutamente attrezzarti con un treppiede e anche con un plamp, se hai bisogno di consigli chiedi pure, qui sicuramente avrai chiarimenti, intanto complimenti e continua a fotografare

i suggerimenti ricevuti sono buoni, ma non bastano, mi spiego meglio:
uscire al mattino presto è ottimale perchè gli insetti intirizziti dal freddo della notte, stanno fermi finchè il sole non li scalda.
quindi, ci si può dedicare del tempo a sistemare con calma l'attrezzatura ecc...
il treppiede è il miglior alleato del macrofotografo.
alla mattino presto questa farfalla non l'avresti mai vista, ne chiusa, ne tantomeno aperta, bisogna anche conoscere le abitudini di questi insetti, le poligonia sp. (questa pare p. c-album ) passano la notte sugli alberi, sono molto schive e sempre molto attive.
inoltre, utile sarebbe allegare da parte tua, i dati di scatto, per valutare con calma se il mosso si fosse potuto evitare.
hai avuto un bel colpo di fortuna a ritrarla aperta, i miei complimenti dunque, per essere comunque riuscito almeno a fotografarla.

il mio augurio, a tutti, è capire che la passione per la fotografia naturalistica non può limitarsi agli approfondimenti della componente fotografica e artistica, ma dovrebbe accendere un desiderio di conoscenza per comprendere al meglio, ciascuno secondo le proprie possibilità, le meraviglie della natura che ancora ci circonda, a cominciare da quella sull'uscio di casa
