first evidence in the nature of the 400 with the extender, a bomb!
light crop, no PP except a slight contrast after resizing

Ciao
Fabio

Sharp and well composed, not bad at RT! You say that you can always use f / 8? Given the weight and handling I'd like to take it for trekking ;-)

grazie a tutti!

thank you all!
Fabio, as the Mark3 perform well at high ISO, f8 really do not scare me
at the moment I'm using it with the tc drive and I feel good! I have a 560mm f8 on 1.3xe sensor is much better than the 400liscio +1.6 x (see quick test I did)
today I did shots at 400ISO and earn even more clean the file, then it is more detailed for me with or without tc does not change anything sharp contrast, etc., is only a few stops in less then light conditions bad the weather is a little drops ...
I'll 'intensive use and then I'll tell you' ;-)

grazie a tutti ;-)

thanks to all ;-)
clear that the maf did not fall on the eye but after selecting the expansion of the central points has been slightly on the back ... I saved the F8:-D

ciao e buona luce, lauro

Nice the colors, detail, composition and focus.
instead of growing evidence to the servo, center point modified from time to time (with joystick) to help in the composition or one-shot focus and maf with shutter button halfway and then dial ... click. See which of the two techniques will come naturally ;-).
hello and good light, laurel

praticamente questi :

Ellemme always fixed on the servo and the center point, but on the 1D3 you can expand the points close to the center ;-)
having this option that I had forgotten to remove the point just below the panel has detected the fire slightly before the eye xke was "closest" ;-)
basically these:
