Subject resounding with natural colors and beautiful. A bit lacking the PDC that covers well the part of the eye.

Ciao.;-);-)

Apart from the highlighted difettuccio is a beautiful specimen, which I have never seen a good job.

Complimenti!

Francesco Welcome back and congratulations on a shot as always well done, that closing a hair more is really a inezza although useful.
The subject is very unique and rare, thanks for sharing it!

Congratulations!

Exceptional subject of rare beauty and charm for sure., And for this it was worth a close Cicci more. Document remains a beautiful and a great shot, congratulations! ;-)

always subject uncommon ones we offer, I like it because of the difficulty of having always resume that position, perhaps the roost is a little intrusive, but if that was ....

Grazie mille a tutti.

Thank you all. I explain how I made the shot.
First I searched and researched the subject, what about rare is optimistic. Once found I could not let me get away, so I left where found, which is about 3 feet above a tree.
First I shielded the best light, it was late afternoon.
Then I extended the tripod to the maximum, and then I took the wood to get to see the merino.
Unfortunately, being a tree had a flurry of branches, so I had a perfect parallel, I did what I could.
If I closed more risked having a background really bad, but now that I thought I could try.
After the first shot the butterfly has moved .....
I've done other 3 shots and then precipitated in the foliage below, from then mostly not found.

Do not give up, and then I hope to find.

Ciro

srepitoso subject, I know the difficulty in portraying these soggeti so for me it is a shot well managed, well done for capturing

Ciao

Luca

The subject is extraordinary, especially in view of the difficulties you encountered, very well taken. ;-)
I did not understand, however, how did you arrive at 3 m from the ground ...

Very interesting subject ... seeing the background I think you could safely close the aperture more.
