grazie in anticipo..
pj

Very nice and broad ..
How do you find the sigma .. I also have the d700 and would like to get to 12-24 you recommend me?
What is the yield at the edges to 5.6? Until what must be closed in order to have a good yield? F8 or f11?
thanks in advance ..
pj

Then there are 2 versions of the Sigma 12-24, and I have the old one that seems to be less powerful, especially in terms of sharpness, while increasing the distortion.

I have not had the chance to compare them but I can tell you that my biggest flaw is difficult to remove the vignetting in PP (at least for me). In terms of sharpness does not seem like a knife in general, but closing at f8/f11 you get good results ... in general everything is more than offset by the fact that comes to 12mm ... really there is the risk of not detach more from the machine.

Unfortunately I have no other experience in terms of wide angle except with the Sigma 10-20 mounted on D80 ...

;))
grazie stefano

Then I'll buy the new version .. is that being a purist then I'll regret it if it was not a knife ..
I usually use the 24nikkor and 17 tokina both fixed .. but the sharpness of the edges 24 does not give a damn .. believe me ..
;))
thanks stefano

Look I have just taken the 16-35 ... I will try it in a couple of weeks I hope it does not always serve the 12mm and while the sharpness is a parameter that you can not miss ... But in situations where the need 12mm , is a well enjoyed!
