ho un bellissimo ricordo di questo scatto: durante il viaggio di nozze in Malesia stavamo scendendo in macchina lungo la strada che corre tra le Cameron Highlands e un paese vicino quando abbiamo trovato una bella cascata con alcune bancarelle e turisti che si facevano foto... io ero attratto invece da un grosso ragno che ho cercato inutilmente di fotografare in quanto non stava mai fermo.... dopo un quarto d'ora di tentativi mi volto per mettere via la roba e vedo questo varano di circa 80 cm che mi guarda a un metro da me..... cambio lente, si mette in posa, scatto questa foto e dopo avermi fatto la lingua se ne torna lentamente nella foresta....
